Clonmel BID is proud to present Clonmel On Ice, a real ice rink in the heart of the town this Christmas. It's the first of our initiatives to bring extra footfall into Clonmel and help improve business in the town, and a chance to show our levy payers the value the BID can deliver. We're expecting around 20,000 people through the rink over the two months it's open.
On the two busiest weekends of the season, we’re bringing Christmas Markets to Marketplace, right beside the rink. With festive lighting, Christmas trees and entertainment throughout, they’ll be the highlight of Christmas in Clonmel, and we’d love you to be part of them.

Why trade with us
These are the weekends when the crowds peak, with families, friends and visitors coming into town to skate, do their Christmas shopping and make a day of it. Marketplace will be dressed for the season with festive lighting, a Christmas tree and entertainment throughout, giving people every reason to stay, browse and buy.
It's a brilliant chance to put your business in front of a lot of new customers at the busiest shopping time of the year.
Whether you sell handmade gifts, local food and drink, crafts or Christmas treats, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll need
Your own stall.
Your own power supply. There's no power on site.
A plan for your stock. There's no overnight security, so stock can't be left on site overnight.
A casual trading licence from Tipperary County Council, at €35 per stand per day. The application asks for your PPS number or Tax Reference Number (CRO number for companies). We're happy to guide you through it.
Public liability insurance of €6.5 million, with Tipperary County Council indemnified on the policy.
